Where does a standalone project tool stop?
A project tool is often the first software a small team buys. It handles tasks, boards and who does what. The limit shows once the work involves money or a client.
The project app knows a task is done. It does not know which client the task was for, how many billable hours it took, or whether anyone invoiced them. That information sits in a CRM, a time tracker and an invoicing tool. None of the three shares data with the project app.
